Stephanie Thomas

Holistic Wellbeing Practitioner

Stephanie is a former nurse, currently pursuing postgraduate studies (MSc Public Health), with special interest in holistic family health and well-being.
Stephanie has experiential knowledge, specialised training and skills in the movement as therapy. Her approach to health and well-being is integrative and person-centred.

As a health care professional, she has special training in general and critical care nursing, midwifery and health visiting. She has extensive experience working with clients across primary, secondary and tertiary health service levels in Trinidad and Tobago and the United Kingdom. Major projects include the commissioning of Intensive Care and Haemodialysis units (Adult) at the Eric Williams Medical Services Authority and the development of pathways for women with symptomatic uterine fibroids at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust, where she was part of the team.

Stephanie's previous community involvement consists of working with church groups doing pastoral care, Prison Link and WAITS. Stephanie is an advisor with Sandwell Healthwatch, and is particularly keen to boost community engagement via health promotion, education and research.
