Brain Spotting
Brain spotting was founded by David Grand in 2003. It is a treatment method of brain-based therapies where the therapist attunes to the client’s brain processes. Our eyes and our brains are closely woven, and the brain reflexively and intuitively directs where we look moment by moment. Trauma spots are found where we look, and we can use brain spotting to notice what’s going on within our brains just the same way we notice with the eyes what’s going on within our field of vision. Brain spotting is a good treatment for PTSD and complex PTSD. It is useful for treating many psychological and physical conditions. Brain spotting is also useful for overcoming performance related difficulties
